He got a few months free service when he bought his Dell through the mail but neither of us was ever able to get the mail configured and he wanted to switch to a cheaper provider. The operator at Sympatico just didn't want to take no for an answer - the irrelevant questions are really awful - it's none of their business who the new ISP is, or what email he's using.
