{"id":1175,"date":"2018-10-26T20:13:47","date_gmt":"2018-10-26T20:13:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.codedread.com\/blog\/?p=1175"},"modified":"2018-10-26T20:13:47","modified_gmt":"2018-10-26T20:13:47","slug":"rxjs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.codedread.com\/blog\/archives\/2018\/10\/26\/rxjs\/","title":{"rendered":"RxJS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ReactiveX\/rxjs\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/codedread.com\/clipart\/reactivex.svgz\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" style=\"float:right\" alt=\"Logo for the ReactiveX \/ RxJS project\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I may have more to say about RxJS some other day, but it's something I've been learning since switching jobs at Google late last year to work on a pretty large <a href=\"https:\/\/angular.io\/\">Angular<\/a> app.  I found it to be a steep learning curve with RxJS and Observables and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Functional_reactive_programming\">functional reactive programming<\/a> in general, but in this case learning RxJS is exacerbated by a lack of good, comprehensive documentation.<\/p>\n<p>However, I did learn that the RxJS team has put together a pretty <a href=\"https:\/\/rxjs-dev.firebaseapp.com\/\" title=\"Official RxJS 6 documentation\">comprehensive set of docs for RxJS 6<\/a>.
