X3D is <abbr title=\"Virtual Reality Markup Language\">VRML<\/abbr> reworked into <abbr title=\"eXtensible Markup Language\">XML<\/abbr> and is starting to garner some attention.  I think it would be cool to combine X3D and SVG into a Compound Document such that X3D is used for your 3D object models and SVG is used for your 2D textures on those models as well as the <abbr title=\"Graphical User Interface\">GUI<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s an article on X3D.
