This story features a scientist who creates a time machine, then accidentally travels back to France in the 1400s and becomes trapped there, meets and falls in love with <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Joan_of_Arc\">Joan of Arc<\/a>, and then is transported back to 1946 right as she is being burned at the stake.
