In Marvel Mystery Comics #82 (April 1947), the character of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Namora\">Namora<\/a> is introduced &#8211; a female version of Namor, the Sub-Mariner.  Throughout the 1940s, the stories of Sub-Mariner have mostly ignored Namor&#8217;s underwater kingdom (except for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.codedread.com\/comicbooks\/78-the-sub-mariner\/\">his origin story<\/a>), so now that Nazis have disappeared from the scene, this is a nice addition to the mythos.
