Superman waits and the dizziness and weakness eventually pass, allowing Superman to once again easily overcome his foe.  I guess this was just his most dangerous assignment <em>so far<\/em>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The idea of menaces that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.codedread.com\/comicbooks\/231-superman-goes-bad\/\">seriously weaken<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.codedread.com\/comicbooks\/?p=2139\">threaten Superman&#8217;s life<\/a> is not a new one, and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kryptonite\">kryptonite<\/a> had already been introduced in the Superman radio show, but it seems clear that writers are butting up more and more to the idea of creating credible threats to Superman in the comics.
