It&#8217;s just another fantasy book, but what&#8217;s there are a couple interesting things about this book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, the creators decided to introduce its first ongoing character since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.codedread.com\/comicbooks\/624-yellow-claw\/\">Jimmy Woo and the Yellow Claw<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Doctor_Druid\">Dr. Droom<\/a> and this character sticks around in the Marvel Universe, which is only a few months from kicking off. Dr. Droom (later renamed to Dr. Druid) is basically a proto Dr. Strange, complete with the Western physician going to the orient to save a Tibetan Llama, only to learn that it is his job to tackle users of the dark mystical arts instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amazingly, the Llama even changes Dr. Droom&#8217;s physical appearance from bald white guy to bald asian guy. That&#8217;s a more &#8220;suitable appearance&#8221; for his new role, right? Is this white-washing? Yellowface?
