It turns out she is noble about this and wants him to erase her memory with his super-hypnotism. Superman has a solution to the problem of his enemies wanting to take revenge on his wife, by giving her a serum that permanently gives her super-powers. More than once, Lana has to save Superman from that green-K, giving Superman an inferiority complex.
