The above panel in Marvel Mystery Comics #7 (March 1940) is the first time comic book characters from different &#8220;strips&#8221; have hinted at a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shared_universe\">shared universe<\/a>.
