Comic Book Archaeology

The main villains of the Planet Comics feature “The Lost World” are the Voltamen – reptilian conquerors of Earth. The Voltamen speak in Yoda-speak (thirty years before Yoda was invented), often placing the verbs at the end of sentences. Here is a sympathetic Voltamen from Planet Comics #47 (December 1946).
