Howard Purcell continues his “Just a Story” anthology series in Comic Cavalcade #19 (December 1946) but introduces a character called “Mister Nobody” as a kind of framing device. I believe “Mister Nobody” is really the first appearance of Johnny Peril. Johnny Peril and “Just a Story” are precursors to the horror anthology genre in comics.

In Adventure Comics #112 (November 1946), classmates of a young Clark Kent are given cars for passing their exams. How old are these kids anyhow?!? Last I saw, Clark was only 12 years old! Not only that, but those cars definitely seem like 1940s models and not 1920s models. Continuity errors and anachronisms abound!
