I have a bunch of cartoons and film shorts on my hard drive. Now that I've installed Suse, I have video/audio output to my TV/Stereo, and I've set up Myth, I wanted to figure out how to play a series of videos from a playlists (.pls) file. Here's how I did it. From NBC's The Office 2006 Christmas Special tonight:

Bros before hos!
Why? Because your bros are always there for you
They have got your back after your ho rips your heart out for no good reason
And you were nothing but great to your ho
And you told her that she was the only ho for you
And that she was better than all the other hos in the world
And then...and then suddenly...
She's not your ho no mo'

One of the laugh-out-loud moments from tonight. That, and seeing Michael Scott mark his new Asian "girlfriend"s arm with a magic marker so he could tell her apart from the other Asian girl. Completely outrageous and brilliant!

Chris Lilley just announced that the SVG specification now has an updated Test Suite.

I'll probably spend some time going through the test suite in cool web browsers like Opera, Firefox and even Konqueror (now that I have a box running OpenSUSE) to see how compliant each browser is. It will be interesting to see what has changed between Firefox 2 and the Firefox 3 nightly builds.

Go pick up your DVD at download.opensuse.org. Let's just see how good Opera's BitTorrent client is, shall we? Of course, it's always polite to look for it at the closest Mirror.
